Introduction:

This course has been designed to impart the subject through an analysis of the functioning of financial services companies. Course adopts a strategic approach to the issues of structure, regulation, policy-formulation and implementation techniques followed by financial services companies in the present day scenario. Through combining theoretical perspectives with case studies from practice, the course aims to allow students to develop critical and contextualized understanding of the issues, problems and solutions faced by financial services institutions. Students will learn to understand the context of financial services within a wider economic context.

 

Objective

  • Giving an insight into the strategic, regulatory, operating and managerial issues concerning various financial services.
    • Examining the present status and developments that are taking place in the financial services sector.
    • Developing an integrated knowledge of the functional areas of financial services industry in the real world situation.
